Air to Water Heat Exchangers



AICs standard line of E-Line economizers is the optimal solution for boiler flue gas heat recovery.

Covering a wide range of boiler sizes, the E-Line delivers real energy and cost savings for commercial and industrial installations. In principal the E-Line economizers act as air to water heat exchanger. Flu gas, typically considered wasted heat, can be effectively cooled down and condensed through the AIC system. This cooling and condensing process releases and transfers excess energy from the flu gas to process fluids flowing through the tubes.

E-Line Performance




The E-line tubes are uniquely "tear-drop" shaped - A design that guarantees maximum heat transfer surface contact with the flu gas, while decreasing the creation of flow wakes. The tubes are strategically positioned in a matrix to optimize the thermodynamic process, by inducing gas turbulance and increasing the heat transfer rate, and minimizing overall gas pressure drops through the system. The stainless steel durable construction is designed to withstand the corrosive effects of condensing flu gases, and is insulated to minimize heat losses.
